Overview
We’ve added a new FIPS column to the data export in the Land Insights data platform.
This update ensures that customers and integrations (such as Pebble and other CRMs) that require the FIPS code can now access it directly within their exported files.
What’s New?
A new column labeled FIPS has been added to data exports.
The FIPS code is now included automatically in all new exports generated after this feature release.
Important: Applies to New Exports Only
Please note:
✅ New exports created after the release of this feature will include the FIPS column.
❌ Prior exports (generated before this update) will not include the FIPS column.
Previously generated files will not be retroactively updated. Due to the volume and structure of historical exports, it is not feasible to regenerate or modify them.
If you need the FIPS column for a dataset that was exported before this update, simply generate a new export from the platform.
When Should You Re-Export?
You should create a new export if:
You need the FIPS code for CRM ingestion (e.g., Pebble).
You are performing county-level analysis using FIPS identifiers.
Your workflow requires standardized geographic codes.
Summary
The FIPS column is now available in all newly generated data exports. To access it, simply create a new export moving forward.
Older exports will remain unchanged.
