🌍 Overview
We’ve added two powerful new data layers—Last Purchase Price and Assessed Value—so you can see property values directly on the map the moment you turn them on.
These layers make it easier to:
Validate pricing claims 🧐
Compare nearby parcels side by side 📊
Understand how the asking price stacks up against real historical and county data
⚙️ How to Enable the Data Layers
Open the Data Layers panel
Toggle on Last Purchase Price or Assessed Value
💥 Values instantly appear directly on the parcels
🔍 Zoom in for more detail where available
No extra clicks required—just toggle and analyze.
💰 Last Purchase Price Layer
The Last Purchase Price layer displays parcels based on their most recent county-recorded sale price.
What you’ll see 👀
The purchase price is shown directly on the parcel
At closer zoom levels, how long ago the property was purchased
Parcels without available digital records will show “Unknown”
Why this matters 🚀
Quickly verify claims like “properties on this street sold for $X”
Identify long-held properties with potential upside
Compare asking prices vs. real historical sales
Spot pricing patterns across an entire area at a glance
🏷️ Assessed Value Layer
The Assessed Value layer shows the parcel value as determined by the county assessor.
What you’ll see 👀
The assessed value is displayed directly on the parcel
Parcels without assessed value data will show “Unknown”
Important notes 📌
Assessed value ≠ market value
No time reference is included
Best used as a baseline comparison alongside purchase prices and listings
📍 Data & Visibility Notes
Values appear immediately on the parcel when a layer is toggled on ⚡
Data availability varies by county
Some parcels may show Unknown if the records aren’t digitized
These layers can be combined with other filters for deeper analysis 🔎
