Right now, Land Insights does not have a one-click skip-trace button for individual properties. However, you can skip-trace a single parcel using one of the two simple workarounds below.
✅ Method 1 — Draw a Polygon Around the Parcel
This is the easiest and fastest option if you’re already in the map view.
Steps:
Go to Filter Parcels.
Click Add Zone and draw a polygon around the exact parcel you want.
Apply your filters (or skip filters if you only need that one property).
Export the results.
Upload the exported file to the Skip Tracing tool.
👉 Since the polygon only contains one parcel, the export will include only that one record, which you can skip-trace.
✅ Method 2 — Export a List, Then Keep Just the Parcel You Want
This is useful if you already know the parcel ID or want to search by filters.
Steps:
Use Filter Parcels to locate the property (county, acreage, APN, zoning, etc.).
Run your search and export the data.
Open the export file (CSV/Excel).
Delete all rows except the one parcel you want to skip-trace.
Upload the cleaned file to the Skip Tracing tool.
This manually turns a bulk export into a single-parcel skip trace request.
🔑 Important Notes
You must upload a file to run skip tracing — even if it contains only one parcel.
Skip tracing requires parcel ownership data (name/address), so make sure your export includes ownership columns.
Manual cleanup is normal for single-parcel skip traces — that’s currently expected behavior.
💡 Quick Tips
Zoom in closely before drawing your polygon — the smaller the zone, the cleaner your export.
If you can see multiple parcels inside your polygon, tighten the shape to ensure only one parcel is captured.
If you’re uncertain which method to use, start with Method 1 — it eliminates extra cleanup work.
